From Formulation to Finished Roll

Shengtong is a source manufacturer rather than a trading company. Our work starts with the coating formulation: we develop water-based conductive, flame-retardant, absorbing and insulating systems in our own lab, then run them on our own coating and laminating lines across fabric, non-woven, copper foil, aluminium foil and PET film.

That structure matters to buyers for one practical reason. When a shielding layer fails a resistance, adhesion or abrasion test, the corrective action happens in the formulation and on the line — both of which we control. There is no third-party coater in the middle slowing the loop down or diluting accountability.

We supply the whole EMI material family from the same facility: conductive fabric, conductive non-woven, copper and aluminium foil, nano-carbon and graphene series, shielding tapes, and the functional coatings themselves. For customers consolidating suppliers, that removes several purchase orders, several quality interfaces and a meaningful amount of administrative cost.

What We Do Better Than a Catalogue Supplier

Coating indicators built to your specification

Surface resistance down to 50 mΩ/sq and thickness made to order. We also tune alcohol resistance, abrasion resistance, low release force, high-temperature resistance and anti-fingerprint performance. Send the drawing or the test standard and we develop the coating to it.

Self-developed water-based coatings

Our pure water-based coating materials are researched and produced in-house. Adhesion on flexible substrates is strong and the coating resists flaking, so the layer survives bending, die-cutting and lamination. Materials are backed by independent CTI test reports covering RoHS, REACH SVHC, halogen content and California Proposition 65.

One-stop EMI material supply

Conductive fabric, non-woven, copper and aluminium foil, nano-carbon and graphene series, shielding tapes and functional coatings — a complete EMI shielding portfolio from one factory, reducing the real cost of managing multiple suppliers.

Small batches first, volume when you are ready

Trial quantities are welcome. Because the laboratory and the coating line sit in the same facility, sample turnaround stays short — and the approved sample is produced on the same process that will run your volume order.

Documentation and compliance support

TDS and complete test reports are available for our materials, and we support OEM and ODM requirements including private labelling, custom slit widths and project-specific packaging. If your market needs a particular test, tell us which standard and we will quote the testing alongside the material.

Where the technology comes from

Our core technical team graduated from the National University of Defense Technology, and its members spent years on the technical and product development work of this field — taking part, as principal contributors, in the whole development cycle of several equipment programmes and in moving that work into production. The company works to Made in China 2025 principles and applies Industry 5.0 thinking on the shop floor rather than in a brochure.

Milestone: our own ultra-precision coater

On 6 August 2024 the company commissioned its first self-developed ultra-precision coater. Bringing the coating head in house moved us from coating supplied substrates to developing and producing flexible multi-functional EMI film, and it is why coating weight, thickness tolerance and surface finish can be tuned to a customer drawing instead of being bought in at a fixed specification.

From Inquiry to Volume Supply

A simple, predictable path — most projects move from first contact to sample in a few working steps.

Substrate, target surface resistance, thickness, environment and quantity. A drawing or a competitor sample is even better.

Technical proposal

We confirm feasibility, propose a coating construction and issue TDS with the quotation.

Sampling & validation

Small-batch samples produced on the production line, then tested against your method — not a laboratory-only build.

STEP 04

Volume production

Once approved, the same formulation and process scale to volume, with test reports supplied per shipment.
